What will the course cover

Part 1 - Pastoral - Wednesday 4th June,  10.30 - 11.30

This session covers how Secondary schools should prepare the Pastoral structure for the new academic year starting in August/September 2025

• Creating the 2025/2026 Pastoral Structure
• How to ensure Students move up to the correct Year and Tutor Groups in August/September 2025

Part 2 - Academic - Thursday 5th June,  10.30 - 11.30

This session covers how Secondary schools should prepare the Academic structure for the new academic year starting in August/September 2025

• Populating the Academic Structure
• How to ensure Students are assigned to the correct academic classes

Outcomes

By the end of this course delegates will have a clear understanding of:

• Creating the Pastoral and Academic structures

• Target Audience

• Data Managers,  staff responsible for student related administration, staff responsible for creating the new academic year in SIMS.
