School Business Services (SBS) is thrilled to announce that we are co-sponsoring the Daily Echo School Awards 2016, created to celebrate excellence in Dorset schools.
Parents, pupils and family members are being urged to nominate those who go the extra mile to enhance the education of young people across Dorset and its borders. Bournemouth Echo is encouraging nominations in nine different categories and include not only teachers and school leaders, but all the members of the support staff.
From now until the February 5th deadline, the awards will be searching for excellence, innovation, inspiration and endeavour in education. Shortlisted nominees will be invited to a glittering awards ceremony, due to be held at Bournemouth's Cumberland Hotel on the East Cliff on Thursday March 17th 2016.
The categories are:
- Art/Creative Team Member of the Year

- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Middle/Secondary Teacher of the Year
- Newcomer of the Year
- Nursery/Primary Teacher of the Year
- PE Teacher of the Year
- Supporting Staff Member of the Year
