Gender pay gap reporting webinar
We uncovered a useful webinar on gender pay gap reporting by XpertHR which might be of interest to a number of academies and independent schools. The aim of the webinar, which takes place on Wednesday 8 February at 2pm - 3pm, is to help you determine whether or not your organisation will have to report on its gender pay gap and also includes a Q&A session.

Gender pay gap reporting will affect private and voluntary sector employers in England, Wales and Scotland with at least 250 employees. If your academy or school meets the relevant criteria you will be required to publish information about the differences in pay between men and women in the workforce on 5 April 2017.
Although gender pay gap reporting only applies to private and voluntary sector employers at present, the government has announced that it intends to extend the duty to public sector employers in the future.
