Important Dates

Changes to the Arbor Census

Funding and Monitoring

Tutor hours for 16-19 tuition fund is no longer collected.

Early Years

The following updates and changes have been made to the Early Years reports:

• The 30 Hour Code is now Eligibility Code for all terms
• The Expanded Hours column has been added to the Early Years grid
• The 2 Year Old Basis for Funding grid has been added to the Autumn census
• The EYPPR grid has been added and includes children from 9 months old(9 mth,1, 2,3,4)
• DAF is now collected for children from 9 months old (9 mth,1, 2,3,4)

Please note - 9 months and above are now entitled to 15 hours funding for working parents.

Early Years Pupil Premium Receipt

For early years pupil premium receipt, the frequency of collection has been increased to termly and extended to children from 9 months old.

For early years pupil premium basis for funding, the frequency of collection has been increased to termly and extended to children from 9 months old.

The disability access fund indicator has been extended to children from 9 months old.

Employer ID

Employer ID is not longer collected for the Post-16 work placements.

Post-16 Programmes of Study 

The Programme Type ‘T Level Transition’ has been changed to ‘T Level Foundation Year’.

The level of ‘T Level Transition’ has been changed to ‘T Level Foundation/Transition’.

SEN

The SEN Need Type lookup has been updated with a new value, the code DS and description Down Syndrome is now active by default.

Getting Started

The first step is to create a dry run, you can do this by going to School > Data > Export > Data Returns.

Click on the Autumn census and then click the School Census Button. On the next page, click the orange ‘Generate Census’ button.

You’ll then get a list of Arbor errors and a list of DFE errors. Work through your Arbor errors first, and you’ll usually find this clears many of the DFE errors too.

• School Census for post-16 - 1st October 2024 at 2pm
• Census day - 3rd October 2024 at 3 pm
