Last Upgrade for 2022 - SIMS 2022 Autumn Release (7.208)
For schools that have their SIMS upgrades carried out by SBS we will be contacting you to arrange a date for the upgrade to take place.
It is essential that the Autumn School Pupil Census has been completed and authorised by the DfE before upgrading. You will not be able to redo the Census in SIMS once the upgrade has happened.

Functionality
One of the main reason for the upgrade is to provide the functionality to be able to produce the relevant Spring Census 2023 within your school.

Young carer
Two new alternative provision data items to be collected:

- Companies House Number
- Alternative Provision Postcode
- Catholic Education Services 2023 Return – 19/1/23
- Independent Schools Council 2023 Return - 19/1/23
New Features
Personal Pronouns
Pupils, applicants, contacts, staff and agents can have specified personal pronouns, this has been enhanced in this upgrade.
SIMS Interventions
- New panel Intervention Attendance to be able to record who attended
- Additional values can now be added to Intervention Area lookups
- In Run interventions can now filter by Academic and can remove academic year restriction
- Notes can be added in the Student Intervention Report
