In November 2021, ESS announced a move to three-year contracts for their MIS SIMS. The timeframe to find a new provider was deemed too short by many schools.
ESS have recently offered commitments enabling schools who had insufficient time to switch providers to apply to an independent adjudicator for a new break clause.
