Statutory Analysis Reports for KS1 and KS2

Capita have recently updated their KS1 and KS2 analysis tools to incorporate the revised measures for 2015/16.
These can be downloaded from the links further down the page (refer to the steps shown on how to do this). These SIMS Assessment templates and the associated reports enable you to compare results for key pupil groups in your school against the national measures. The report has been updated to run in SIMS hosted schools. The GPS national score has also been updated from 72% to 73% (as per the DfE revised statistical release).Next steps
- Save the ZIP file to an available folder; it doesn’t matter what folder is chosen as the ZIP does not contain any sensitive data.
- Extract (unzip) the files to an available folder, it is fine to use the same folder as that where you downloaded the ZIP to.
- In SIMS, import the templates via Routines | Data in | Assessment | Import
- Import the report definition via Reports | Import
- Create Marksheets from the following template/s via Focus | Assessment | Templates
- CAS KS1 Attainment Overview 2016 (KS1)
- CAS KS1 APS Calculator 2016 (KS2)
- CAS KS2 Attain and Progress Tests 2016 (KS2)
Running the Report
If you have been using SIMS for your statutory reporting at KS1 and KS2, data will automatically populate into the marksheet.KS1
- Open the Marksheet CAS KS1 Attainment Overview 2016
- Click 'calculate' and 'save'
- Run the report definition (Reports | Run report| Focus - Student ) CAS KS1 Key Groups Overview 2016
KS2
- Open the Marksheet CAS KS1 APS Calculator 2016
- Click ''calculate' and 'save'
- Open the Marksheet CAS KS2 Attain and Progress Tests 2016
- Click 'calculate' and 'save'
- Run the report definition (Reports | Run report |Focus - Student ) CAS KS2 Key Groups Overview 2016
