We're holding remote timetabling training courses this month!
Posted 15th April 2020
The SBS MIS team have been discussing how we can continue to provide remote training to schools during this period of social isolation.
To help with this, I have been breaking down our longstanding SIMS Nova Timetabling Training Courses into 45 min to 90 min sessions. We think in this period of time it is best to have short sessions over more days. We have created a page on our website providing more details, and the training will be delivered over Microsoft Teams or a similar solution and allows time for you to ask questions. These courses have been designed for those that are new to timetabling or want to extend their knowledge of Nova T. I will also be delivering some extra modules such as creating a two week timetable or dealing with split lunches and breaks. Please do contact us to book places on the courses. All training will be delivered in a combination of:- Explanation of Theory
- Demonstrations
- User practice on your own machines
- Free 1 hour introduction to Curriculum Planning
- Module 1 Preparation
- 5 Core Modules
- 5 Additional Modules
