At School Business Services, we know the difference it can make to staff when they feel confident in using SIMS and we understand the ways to maximise the use of your data. Our courses are designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to support and enhance both routine tasks and strategic planning.

SIMS is continually evolving and enhancements to the software are frequent so, whether you are completely new to SIMS or have years of experience, we have courses to suit you.

Training courses

We have a wide range of courses on offer and these are delivered from our 4 training venues:
  • East London – Newbury Park hotel
  • North London – Swiss Cottage School
  • Central – Our SBS Regional Office at Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes
  • South – Our SBS Head Office in Poole

As always, we are able to offer you the opportunity to exchange half a day of your allocated SIMS Consultancy for a place for one delegate on a selected course of your choice.

Training and consultancy within your school

If you’re short on time or maybe looking to train several members of staff at once, we can deliver bespoke on-site training based on your specific requirements, using your own school data. Tailor-made INSET days for admin staff are just one suggested idea.

SIMS Overview sessions

Free to attend and delivered by our senior consultants, these sessions are designed to give school leadership teams (SLTs) and data managers a clear understanding of how SIMS can support school improvement.
