The SIMS Summer Census will be on Thursday 17th May 2018
It finally feels like Spring has come with April showers and glorious sunshine and along with it comes another census. This one’s a nice easy one, the easiest of the 3 and to make things even better some bits have been removed! Important dates in the Summer collection
- Attendance Collection: 01/01/2018 – 01/04/2018
- Exclusion Collection: 01/09/2017 – 31/12/2017
- FSM Eligibility Collection: 19/01/2018 – 17/05/2018
- Learning Support Collection: 01/08/2017 – 17/05/2018
Downloading and applying a Fileset
A new Fileset 901 has been released by Capita ready for your School Census. This new fileset solves a variety of validation errors and contains the latest DfE information. Please check that you have had your SIMS upgrade and are on SIMS version 7.180 and then import the latest file. Download the fileset now! → Please note: There WILL be a new fileset before census, due out within the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye on the blog for the download link.Changes to this Census
The media are currently reporting that as of Summer Census 2018 the DfE are dropping 3 items from the census. The DfE have confirmed that they are removing these items from the Autumn Census 2018.The are collecting the first 2 of these items as normal for this census.

- Pupil Proficiency in English
